Come on out to 50 West (7668 Wooster Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45227) this Thursday night to support a local brewery AND your local bloggers!! The guys at 50 West were cool enough to invite some of the local beer bloggers out to take part in their Cannonball event.
50 West has done the cannonball a few times now, normally it’s where 6 regular staff members (servers, cooks, etc..) team up with a brewer and brew a small batch of beer. Then the day of the event all the customers get to vote on their favorite. The winner just wins bragging rights until the next event.
For the CannonBlog the 50 West brewers teamed up with Brew Professor, BeerMumbo, Hoperatives, Love Beer Love Food, Queen City Fresh, WCPO’s Jesse Folk, and Josh and I representing Queen City Drinks. If you don’t follow their blogs yet you really should. They have great local content and I’m proud to count them among my friends. Each blog made one of the following beers, blogs are not being associated with their beer to try to ensure fairness:
